Hollywood Fire Department Battalion Chief
	Battalion Chief, Lawrence La Torre has been a resident of Hollywood, Florida for over 48 years. He has been a paramedic and has been serving this great city since 1980. Lawrence attended Little Flower Catholic School where he is still a parishioner. He also graduated from South Broward High School and then attended Broward Community College and received an A.S. degree in Fire Science. He also attended St. Thomas University and earned a B.S. degree in Organizational Leadership.
Lawrence has been a member of various city and departmental committees and was also presented with the "Firefighter of the Year" award in 2008. Chief Latorre has continued to be active in our community throughout his tenure while serving with the Hollywood Fire Department. On his off-hours, Lawrence enjoys landscaping designs and preparing Italian cuisine for his lovely wife, Michele.
